Get Britain Working Plans

Ben supported the development of three Get Britain Working (GBW) Plans working as part of a wider consultancy team commissioned to provide strategic and analytical support.

His role focused on advising on labour markets, skills and employment policy, with particular attention to the drivers of economic inactivity and how national policy translated into local delivery challenges.

Working across three distinct geographies, Ben provided insight & advice to inform place‑based plans, engaging with local authorities, employment and skills partners, and wider stakeholders.

The work helped ensure each GBW Plan was grounded in local labour market realities while remaining aligned with national policy and delivery frameworks.
